East Harlem Current Affairs
I am dedicating this site to the current affairs of one of New York cities most intriguing neighborhoods. El Barrio, Spanish Harlem, East Harlem choose to call it as you will but just dont call it Upper Yorkville or SPAHA.
It's an amazing community and I hope you will learn to love it as I have.

Can you tell me -out side the folklore of "el barrio" and all the misconception of how dangerous NYC and it various areas are- what the true "safety" of the neighborhood is? Not just for a white dude (which I am) but just in general as an area. I was talking to some friends about looking at an apartment on east 110th and Lexington, and the seemed to think it was a bad idea. What is your take?

I am fascinated by Latin men, especially in Spanish Harlem. I am looking to visit there and would love to lodge in a hotel there where nothing but latinos frequent. Could anyone help me find that hotel.
