Aftermath: Part 1

Well, with the primary over all of the neighborhood politicos seem to be retreating for the time being to those dark backrooms.

First off Congratulations to Melissa Mark Viverito. She fought a hard campaign winning by only 16 votes . It should be noted that at this time, Felipe Luciano is contesting the win. According to one source there remain 40 absentee ballots and 20 incedents at the polls where a request to be investigate has been made

Melissa will face a difficult time in uniting this community, winning by such a slight margin, inspite of the massive support received from SEIU 1199 and the Working Families Party.
But I believe she is sincere in her beliefs and in her dedication to help improve this community.
